Q: Why are you sponsoring a weekend of the Parade of Homes?

A: It is a great opportunity for us to showcase our master-planned community, incredible builders and thefun lifestyle we have to offer.

Q: What special events do you have planned this year?

A: We are having a Drive Thru Fall Fest on Saturday October 17th and Sunday October 18th from 12 noon till 4pm. Line up in your car and be greeted by costumed characters and entertainers at the Clubhouse. Q: What is happening in your community this year, and what makes it distinctive?

A: Harpers Mill has been the top selling community in the Richmond area for the past 3 years. Aside fromour award-winning, resort-style amenities and over 240 acres of future open space and parks, our lotsizes range up to half an acre throughout the entire community, providing larger wooded and privatelots across the board which surrounding communities do not have. At Harpers Mill you feel thecloseness of a master-planned community, without being TOO close. We also offer a variety of homesstarting in the low $300’s so whether you are a first time home buyer, moving up into your dream home, or downsizing, we have a range of pricing and square footage options to accommodate your needs. This concept is put in place to provide families of all stages of life to live here, making it a dynamic and funplace to live coupled with resort-style amenities and outdoor space to spend your free time.

Q: What new home trends are you seeing in your community?

A: First floor masters, In-law suites, open floor plans, dream kitchen and storage areas, outdoor entertainment spaces.

Q: What amenity trends are buyers looking for?

A: Besides location, buyers are looking for amenities and conveniences within the community that allowsthem to have everything they could ever want to enjoy their free time with friends and family without even needing to leave the community. We are doing just that in Harpers Mill.  Currently we have aresort-style pool, clubhouse, regulation size sports field with LED lighting, a custom built Hobbit Worldplayground and an amphitheater. Our 55+ section of Kenbrook also features pickle ball courts and a firepit. The extension of trail system is under construction which will feature about 5 miles of 9ft widepaved bike trails at build out. In the future, we have plans to add a dog park, a retail corner featuring arestaurant and neighborhood friendly shops, a daycare center, a second pool amenity and 240 acres ofreserved open space and parks. We will also have about 25 miles of sidewalks at buildout.

Q: What is your favorite part of Richmond Parade of Homes?

A: The events! We love to get the opportunity to not only show off our stunning parade homes but toshare fun Fall activities with the public so they can get a real sense of what it is like to live in a vibrant community where a lifestyle comes.

Q: Why are you sponsoring a weekend of the Parade of Homes?

A: We love getting involved with this popular Richmond event and also supporting HBAR! It is a great way to invite tons of folks out to our beautiful community to see our show homes and amenities!

Q: What special events do you have planned this year?

A: We will safely be inviting guests to a Fall Festival event that includes food and beer trucks, barrel train rides, a DJ, pumpkins to go, and much more! We will be giving out RounTrey masks and have event marshals to make sure people are practicing social distance since we do take our community’s health very serious.

Q: What is happening in your community this year, and what makes it distinctive?

A: RounTrey is excited to now offer modern homes! There is a brand new, exclusive section called Century at RounTrey where these homes are popping up and they are BEAUTIFUL. Homeowners can get the best of both worlds being an active community with resort-style living while being in an award-winning school district. The best part is that these modern homes are in an affordable price point starting in the $600's. Of course, we still offer our other, varying home styles such as the popular craftsman and farmhouse, etc.

Q: What new home trends are you seeing in your community?

A: We are seeing some amazing tile patterns and fixtures throughout these custom homes.  Also, a lot of families are putting more time and money into their outdoor living spaces! What better time than Fall around the corner!

Q: What amenity trends are buyers looking for?

A: It seems as though the community pools and playgrounds are still hanging strong amongst buyer needs! Earlier this year we also installed amenities along the Swift Creek Reservoir including a dog park, trails, kayak launch sites, docks, and more! Buyers also love our active social calendar that we hope to be able to resume more next year if we can do so safely.

Q: What is your favorite part of Richmond Parade of Homes?

A: I love how new homes, and their communities, all around the area are able to be in the spotlight and showcase the talent of the slew of gifted builders in the Greater Richmond area! It’s a lovely time of year celebrating Fall and also providing many an opportunity to scope out their options for supporting new construction and building/buying a home!
