WELCOME TO THE  2020 PARADE of HOMES

Richmond's largest multi-site home show begins Oct 3, 2020.

Richmond, VA (August 4, 2020) | The Home Building Association of Richmond (HBAR) is proud to announce that the 69th Annual Parade of Homes returns to the Greater Richmond area in October. The event is the premier scattered site home showcase and free to the public. The Parade of Homes, a self-guided tour of the region's top new homes, begins on October 3, 2020 and will run all four weekends of the month.

Has 2020 got you dreaming of a new home? This show offers 37 new homes and well over half are decorated models. The homes are located throughout the Greater Richmond area including Counties of Chesterfield, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, King William, New Kent, and Powhatan. This is the best opportunity to see every type of new home imaginable, showcasing innovative ideas, stunning design features, amazing floor plans, and master craftsmanship, at prices spanning from the low $200s to over $1 million. All the homes will be available for virtual viewing. On-site viewing will follow the most current guidelines and protocols by the state of Virginia.

Whether you are looking for a brand new home, or simply new ideas for the home you're in - this tour will inspire you to get the most out of your living space. The Parade offers a unique, single source to find builders, locations, and styles of homes from a wide array of price points and ideas. "The Parade of Homes" will be held October 3-4, 10-11, 17-18, and 24-25. Hours on those days are from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is free.

Each weekend during the Parade of Homes will feature an exciting community sponsor. This year's sponsors are Magnolia Green for October 3-4, RounTrey for October 10-11, Harpers Mill for October 17-18, and Hickory Hill (Hanover County) for October 24-25. This year each sponsor will feature fun community-wide events that all members of the public are invited to attend that will adhere to the current COVID 19 protocols.

The Parade of Homes Plan Book and the website, RichmondParadeofHomes.com, will include detailed information about the event and the individual homes on the tour, including home designs, floor plans and descriptions, detailed directions to each home, and a map. The magazine is free and will be available beginning the third week in September at area Kroger and Food Lion supermarkets, convenience stores, as well as at the HBAR headquarters located at 400 N. Ridge Road in Henrico County.
